Computational morphogenesis of hypar structures
Research projects
The aim of this project is to use parametric design and optimisation to define a computational process of morphogenesis for hypar shells. The church of Longuelo has been used as a first case study.
Preliminary results have been published in the proceedings of the ASA conference 2014. A journal article is currently being prepared (expected publication: early 2019).
